Our district partners with ARAMARK, a foodservices management company, to bring our students and parents the quality programs they desire. Throughout this website you can learn more about the various programs in place throughout the district including:

• Dining Environments: full-scale brands that create a complete dining experience - from menus to food packaging to colorful graphics - targeting the various needs of our elementary, middle and high school students
• Nutrition and Wellness Programs: comprehensive programs designed to reinforce the basics of maintaining a healthy lifestyle through proper nutrition, choosing the right foods and physical activities
• Meal Offerings: breakfast, lunch, after-school snacks, sack lunches for field trips, catering, and more, are provided at each building as needed and determined by the district
• Promotions and Specials: special monthly thematic food - featuring nutritious meal offerings - to build student excitement.

Nutritional Calculator

Q: What is it?

A: Our menus contain a wide variety of choices. As such, simply providing a weekly average of nutrients for a menu will not properly reflect the actual nutritional value of an individualized meal a student could select. As a new feature to our Nutrition & Wellness initiative, our Nutrition Calculator is designed to allow a parent, student, nurse or any other interested party to evaluate the nutrition content of any combination of meal selections. The file is easy to save from the web site and is easily viewed on a local computer. The Nutrition Calulator allows for a more interactive, customizable, and in-depth look at nutritional value. It uses familiar drop-down selectors that show all of the items on a particular menu cycle.

Q: How do I use it?

A: Use the drop down menus to build your lunch. The estimated nutritional content of your lunch will show to the right. Click the link below to open the calculator for the desired grade level. A message box entitled "Manage Trust for Multimedia Content" may pop up on your screen. If so, click the "Play" button to be taken to the Nutrition Calculator. Below is a screenshot of how your calculator should look.

ARAMARK partners with J. Ambrogi, a
New Jersey-based company, that
delivers fresh produce from New Jersey Farms to Cherry Hill Public Schools.

The picture above is Farmer John, an Ambrogi Representative that lives in Cherry Hill, giving a Farm to School presentation at Brett Harte Elementary School. Farmer John has perfromed six demonstrations to date and we plan to continue until all schools have had the pleasure of meeting Farmer John and learning more aboout locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables.
