What is the U.B.U. Lounge™?

The U.B.U. Lounge is a place specifically for High School students — built on and reflecting their lifestyles. It's designed like a modern living room, with couches and chairs for chilling out. U.B.U. Lounge even has a self-expression wall for students to try their hands at creative writing!

Here, students can spend more time catching up with friends and eating, rather than waiting in line, by offering quick and easy choices. It's about being available — being tasty — being a great deal. U.B.U. Lounge is an area that students can make all their own…it's for them and about them!

ARAMARK surveyed High School students across the country to identify their likes, dislikes and what's important when it comes to school and school dining. We've built a program on what they told us works and what they wanted.

Based on this, U.B.U. Lounge brings the following enhancements to your cafeteria:

• Posters and signage that reflect high schoolers' lifestyles
• Walls painted with vibrant colors to create a more soothing environment
• Contemporary food presentation and packaging that make the lines faster
• Easy-to-read menu boards communicating meal choices
• Comfortable seating including lounge areas promoting conversation with friends
• Expression wall for students to create their own poetry

And, flavor-packed recipes like Chicken Fredo Roll, Santa Fe Turkey, Beef-a-yaki, Veggie Nice Rice, and much more. What's more, over 60% of our new recipes contain less than 30 calories from fat. So, they're tasty and healthy, all in one!
