Cafeterias and Dining Halls are a thing of the past and Residential Restaurants are in. Longwood Dining is proud to present one of its newest culinventions on campus, Real Food on Campus (RFoC). Featuring cutting edge exhibition cooking, authentic ethnic dishes, a culinary twist on old American favorites and a greater variant of healthy/vegetarian options prepared right before your eyes, we ensure that your dining program in no way resembles a cafeteria.
With its unique style of menu planning, food presentations and service philosophy, RFoC supersedes what you have experienced in the past. The theme of the program is quite simple; fresh, friendly, fast, favorite, fabulous food. No hidden secret cache of frozen entrees. The philosophy of the program goes one step further; Relax, Refuel, Renew and Respect. It’s like a mini-restaurant with a complete meal solution at each station. That’s right! No more wandering around. A program that suits your needs in terms of customization, menu variety, freedom of choice and value perception all wrapped up in a social and relaxing environment. Mangia! Mangia!
Outta Here - Now Serving Breakfast!
Outta Here located on the ground floor of Dorrill Dining Here specializes in offering food for those who have little time or are on the run. For the cost of one meal swipe, students can come in and box-up their breakfast, lunch or dinner and take it with them to their next destination.
Hours of Operation: Monday - Thursday: Breakfast: 7:30-9 a.m.; Lunch: 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m; Dinner: 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Friday: Breakfast: 7:30-9 a.m.; Lunch: 10-30 a.m.- 3 p.m.
Tea Room
On the ground floor of Dorrill Dining Hall, Faculty and Staff will find a quaint dining room to sit and enjoy an all-you-care-to eat lunch with peers and friends without having to fight the crowds for lunch. This location is open to all Faculty and Staff Monday through Friday and is the best kept secret on campus. The Tea Room is $5.00 for lunch and accepts Cash, Credit Cards, Bonus Dollars and Longwood Dollars. With limited seating, we are not able to accommodate groups in the Tea Room. If you wish to bring a group to the Dining Hall, please contact the Catering Office at 395-2629.
